Q: What company do you work for?
A: I’m a Realtor with HomeSmart. Been with HomeSmart for many years and wouldn’t think of changing brokers.
Q: Why not work for another brokerage?
A: I’ve hung my license with other brokers. While there are some great people and great brokerages out there, I found that, for me, HomeSmart serves my needs best, and if they’re serving my needs best, then by default, they serve my client’s needs best.
Q: How so?
A: I think number 1 is technology and customer care. Their state of the art technology makes processing of paperwork a breeze. Access to brokers when I need them is top notch. And I found that with HomeSmart, there are no stupid questions – and believe me – I’ve asked them. Also, with so many offices in the valley, I can work with clients pretty much anywhere that’s convenient to them. That’s huge for me, and a nice touch for people I work with.

Q: What experience do you have in real estate?
A: I guess the best way to answer that question is that real estate is an ongoing experience, both on the job and in the classroom. I have spent many many hours in both, with the intention of becoming the most proficient I can be given any real estate transaction. Right now, I specialize in buying and selling single family residences, town homes, condos and new builds. In the past, I have flipped properties. I’ve also purchased properties that I held onto and sold at a later date.
Q: Experience in other industries?
A: I think you could say I’m pretty well rounded. Most of my career has been in finance. I was a Certified Public Accountant for a number of years, then moved to a specialized field of financial planning – where we helped people who were facing retirement with not enough money to retire with. When the recession obliterated the tools I had to work with, I was asked to help work on a couple of political campaigns in the valley where I managed grass roots operations for same.
Q: How does it help me now?
A: Well, I think the finance side is obvious. And having been a Certified Public Accountant for so many years has instilled in me a depth of integrity others might not be privy to, and also, I think having been a Certified Public Accountant gives me a well rounded understanding of fiduciary responsibility that’s not just limited to real estate. And the political side? Let’s say I learned how to negotiate really well.
Q: Do you like helping people find a home
A: LOVE IT!
Q: Why should people list with me?
A: I go the extra mile. I don’t pretend to be the be all, know all of everything in real estate. Oftentimes, I find my buyers and sellers have already done their homework and are already fairly knowledgeable of what is going on in the marketplace. So I partner with my sellers. Do my own homework specific to their property. Come up with a strategy that works for them.
Q: Why would someone hire me to find a home
A: For the same reasons you should hire me to list your home. I go the extra mile. Come up with a strategy that works with my buyers.
Q: What unique ability do I have
A: I show up.
Q: What does that mean when you say you show up?
A: I am by your side every step of the way – from contract acceptance through closing for a buyer – from listing to closing for a seller. You will never have to wonder what’s happening with your transaction, and if you do have a question, you’ll always know where to find me.
